Quickly made cider
Once I made accidentally cider. I just left a bottle of squeezed apple juice in the refrigerator. A few weeks later I opened the forgotten bottle and the cider came out with tremendous force . The remaining bubbly cider in the bottle tasted very nice. The only difference with the cider from the store was the murky brown color of the oxidized apple juice. Making quick apple cider is very simple: press apples – all kinds of (wild) apples can be used – in an apple press or in a food processor. Separate the juice from the pulp with a sieve, pour the juice into a plastic bottle and let the bottle stand for a few days. After about four days, the apple cider is ready. As long as the cider is bubbling, the sugars will ferment, the drink will be less sweet and the alcohol will be about 5 %. Preferably use a plastic bottle in order to prevent explosion of glass bottles.
